With a MD (Internal Medicine) and DM (Cardiology) from PGIMER, Chandigarh, Dr. Garg became a medical educator committed towards training medical aspirants with advanced knowledge and skills essential to provide the best patient care. He served as an Assistant Professor of Cardiology & Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Trans-radial specialist at a few of the best medical institutions in Ahmedabad like Seth K M School of PG Medicine & Research, Seth V.S. In his current work profile he treats cardiovascular disease and structural heart conditions through catheter-based procedures, such as Primary/Routine Coronary angioplasty and stenting, repairing heart defects or implanting new heart valves without surgery. He routinely performs valvular, congenital and electrophysiological procedures including cath studies, valvuloplasties, device closure & pacemaker implantations. On an average, he executes around 150 primary and 300 routine Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasties (PTCA) and over 1500 angiographies (coronary/peripheral/renal/ peripheral & carotid) annually.
